You are looking at the bottom of the intake near the throttle body mount.

Green passage - is the EGR passage.
Blue passages - are coolant passages.
Red passage - is not important to this guide.

The transparrent Orange is simulating the path the coolant travels inside the intake.

Same as above but ground out.
The Purple simulates the JB weld fill.
The Silver U shape is a Stainless Steel tube.

This tube is to re-route the coolant to avoid leaks at the throttle body.
If done right this is BY FAR the best repair one can do.
